La Busattina is located in Maremma in the southern part of Tuscany. Emilio Falcione is the man behind these beautiful wines. In addition to the 4 hectares of vineyards, he masters a farm of 41 hectares with olive trees, goats, horses, bees, cows, geese and donkeys! In the Fields he works with grapes such as Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Trebbiano, Ansonica and Malvasia.

The house has been biodynamically certified since 1997. All work in the vineyards is done manually - machines: no thanks! Fermentation takes place spontaneously, only with wild yeast, and the wines are filtered and not clarified before bottling. A minimal amount of sulfites is added at bottling.

Emilio is a man of few words who lets his wines speak for themselves. He makes super clean and complex wines with plenty to offer.
